On the 28th April, the eve of the Royal Wedding I was interviewed by Cath Ames at 7 Waves Radio Wirral, Merseyside. Cath is a genuinely warm and competent interviewer who conducted the proceedings with skill and charm. We chatted about my past professional life as a musician, cabaret artist and more recently my composing and recording activities.
We had some fun by my reading a poem imitating Prince Charles, a piece which I wrote especially for the occasion. This was to give listeners an alternative and positive view of not receiving a Royal Wedding invitation!. I will attempt to post the poem here for you.
All in all a very nice Radio item which Cath Ames concluded by playing 'Hand on Heart' a song from my Blue Planet Blues album. Thanks to 7 Waves Radio for the slot, Cath Ames for the inrerview and Dale Olivier of Matchbox Recordings for setting it all up.
